Newcomer 1:

Difficulty Meter

For dancers ages 3-5, this class is open to first time learners. This class is an interactive introduction to dance that teaches young children the basic fundamentals of Latin ballroom dancing such as counting to music, basic figures, and Newcomer Syllabus all while having fun in a friendly structured environment.

(Tuesday & Thursday 6-7 PM)

Newcomer 2:

For dancers ages 5-7 who have some prior training in Latin ballroom. In this class kids continue learning Newcomer Syllabus and begin to target basic Latin techniques. This class is a structured introduction to dance that young children can enjoy. !
(Tuesday & Thursday 6-7 PM)

Pre-Bronze

For dancers ages 6-8 who have excelled in the Newcomer 2 class. This is the highest level of Newcomer Syllabus and begins to challenge kids by introducing the Pre-Bronze Syllabus. Here dancers develop a deeper understanding of the basic fundamentals of Latin ballroom dancing and creates a solid foundation for their dancing future. 
(Monday & Wednesday 7-8 PM)

Bronze

For dancers ages 8-12 who have little to no prior training in Latin ballroom dancing. This class is open to first time learners. This class will be covering Newcomer to Bronze Syllabus. Learn exciting dance steps and meet new friends!
(Monday & Wednesday 7-8 PM)

Silver

For dancers ages 8-12 who have mastered the basics of Bronze Syllabus. Here dancers learn more rhythmical actions through stronger usage of feet and legs. This class builds dancers personal character and confidence. Students begin to master the Silver Syllabus through technique as well as through performance.

Gold

For dancers ages 8-12 who have excelled in prior levels and are ready to take on more challenging choreography. Dancers learn to execute stronger and quicker movements as well as new rhythmic patterns and changes. This is the last level with Syllabus steps, however many Open level figures are interpreted. Here dancers challenge themselves to become stronger on a more advanced and competitive level.

Advanced

For dancers ages 13 and up who have excelled in all Syllabus levels. Advanced class includes Novice, Pre-Championship, and Championship levels. There are no restrictions on dance moves which makes choreography more exciting and complex. This is the highest level class Beat DanceSport Academy offers. Dancers in this class are held to a higher standard and are expected to dress, train, practice, and preform like professionals.

Standard

For dancers ages 8 and up who have little to no training in Standard ballroom dancing. This is an introductory Standard class that focuses on basic figures, fundamental movements, and musicality. This is a great class to improve dancers posture, grace, and dancing etiquette. Step into the elegant and sophisticated world of Standard ballroom dancing! (Tuesday & Thursday 6-7 PM) 

Stretch

For kids of all ages who are looking to improve their flexibility and range of motion. Stretch class has a world of benefits that are extremely important for the growth and development of children's bodies. This class helps improve athletic performance, decreases risk of injury, increases blood circulation, and reduces muscle soreness. This class is also ideal for improving balance, strengthening posture, developing point and extension, and sculpting one’s muscles and body.
(Monday & Wednesday 6-7 PM)

Couples Class

This class is for couples only. Couples will learn to work together as one unit by improving their connection, “lead and follow”, spacial awareness, styling, and partnering dynamics. This class will incorporate a lot of partnering exercises that will help couples improve their physical communication. 
(Friday 6-7 PM)

Latin Rounds

This class is open to all of our competitive dancers. This class is essential to all dancers competitive training whether they are in a partnership or compete in the singles division. In this class dancers work on their floor craft, stamina, performance, and presentation which are all key components to a successful competition. Rounds class was created to simulate a competition style atmosphere where we promote team work, high energy, and discipline, motivating kids to be the best that they could be!
(Friday 7-8 PM)
